For a destination wedding in Leavenworth, Foxwood developed a coordinated collection that connected the mountain setting, the couple’s personality and the guest experience.
The project included two six-foot seating panels filled with personalized ski-pass magnets, reusable decorative panels, a bright green welcome display, a custom drink menu and an impressive number of trident-shaped drink stirrers.
Every element served its own purpose while remaining part of one memorable celebration.
The Project
The centerpiece of the collection was a large custom seating installation consisting of two panels. Each panel measured 6 feet tall and 34 inches wide.
At that scale, the display needed to make an immediate visual impression while keeping every guest’s seating information organized and easy to locate.
The wedding’s Leavenworth location inspired a ski-pass concept that became the foundation of the design.
Personalized Ski-Pass Magnets
Individual ski passes were arranged across the two large panels, transforming the seating display into an interactive guest experience.
Each pass helped a guest find their place and could then be removed from the display. The passes were also magnets, allowing guests to take home a functional keepsake rather than leaving the seating pieces behind after the event.
Together, the passes formed a coordinated installation. Individually, each one belonged to a specific guest.
Connected to the Wedding Gallery
A scannable code incorporated into the ski-pass design connected guests to the wedding photo gallery.
This small feature extended the purpose of the passes beyond seating information. Guests could use the code to access photographs from the celebration while keeping the magnet as a reminder of the wedding and its mountain setting.
The technology remained integrated into the design instead of appearing as an unrelated addition.
Designed to Live Beyond the Wedding
The ski-pass magnets were not the only reusable part of the installation.
Each six-foot seating panel included a removable decorative section at the top. After the wedding, these sections could be separated from the larger structures and displayed as keepsake artwork in the couple’s home.
Instead of designing two large panels that would have no purpose after the reception, Foxwood incorporated a way for meaningful parts of the installation to continue telling the story.
A Bright WelcomeA vivid green welcome display introduced a completely different burst of color while preserving the playful personality of the overall collection. The sign welcomed guests into the celebration and helped establish immediately that this wedding was not going to rely on quiet, predictable details. Its bold color created a memorable first impression and balanced the mountain-inspired elements used throughout the rest of the signage. |

Custom Details at the BarThe coordinated pieces continued into the bar experience with a custom drink menu and trident-shaped drink stirrers. The menu helped carry the visual direction into another part of the venue, while the custom stirrers added a playful detail directly to the drinks themselves. A very large quantity of tridents was produced so the theme could remain visible throughout the celebration—not just on one decorative table.
