Looking for a creative night out, a unique date idea, or a new craft to try? In this hands-on class, you’ll create your choice of a stained-glass fox and leave with a beautiful handmade suncatcher ready to display.
No experience is necessary. Tiara from Salty Bird Glass will guide you through each step, including copper foiling, soldering, assembly, and finishing your piece with a hanging loop.

Important Safety Information
This workshop uses glass-cutting and grinding tools, flux, and 60/40 leaded solder heated to approximately 800°F. While the risk is low when proper procedures are followed, participants must follow all instructor safety directions.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and ideally pants, tie back long hair, and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry. Food is not permitted in the work area, and drinks must be kept away from work surfaces. Please wash your hands after handling solder or workshop chemicals.
Stained-glass classes are not appropriate for pregnant individuals. If you are sensitive to fumes, you are welcome to bring a respirator mask; N95 masks may be available upon request.
By registering, you acknowledge the workshop’s safety requirements and may be asked to sign a liability waiver before class begins. Photos may be taken during the class and used for Foxwood Engraving & Gifts or Salty Bird Glass marketing.
Release of Liability & Photo Consent
By registering for and participating in this stained-glass workshop, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in an activity that involves the use of glass, cutting and grinding tools, chemicals, flux, and heated soldering equipment.
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Tiara Nixon/Salty Bird Glass and Foxwood Engraving, LLC. I understand that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, exposure to fumes or chemicals, damage to personal property, and injuries that may occur during the class or while traveling to or from the workshop.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Tiara Nixon/Salty Bird Glass; Foxwood Engraving, LLC; and each of their owners, agents, representatives, employees, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any claims, liabilities, actions, damages, demands, costs, or expenses arising from or connected with my participation in this workshop, including injury to my person or loss of or damage to personal property.
I understand that photographs and/or video may be taken during the workshop and grant Salty Bird Glass and Foxwood Engraving, LLC permission to use my likeness for marketing and promotional purposes.

Due to the advance labor and materials required to prepare for this workshop, tickets are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend after registering, your ticket may be applied to a future Foxwood or Salty Bird Glass workshop, or we can provide a completed version of the stained-glass piece you would have made, with shipping included.
